You are welcome to try a solid aluminum guibo, but it's going to transmit driveshaft vibration like you won't believe. It's made of rubber for a reason, guys.

A few people on BFC have them, it shouldn't vibrate much more than now if at all. It's rubber to absorb power and reduce the beating on the rest of the car, from things like launching, hard shifts, drag racing, ect.

Honestly? Just because. I love the 540, don't get me wrong, but there were a few other cars calling me to give them a little try for a while so we'll see how that goes.

And I'm talking about STEEP hills where cars stack up behind you. You have to use the ebrake, it's simply not possible to do otherwise without slipping the sh*t out of your clutch (see Sama's method) or rolling back a bunch.

I have 42s and I get 20 city 30 highway.

I wouldn't get a higher diff either, I hate being at 3k at 70mph, but that's just me.

How do you drive it? I get on mine pretty hard a good bit of the time.

You have a turbo though...That doesn't count...

I drive relatively conservatively...

I pretty much gun freeway onramps and tunnels...but other than that I'm pretty mellow...

So 318 trannys work with 325s with modifications..

yes

double post. i can get 600 miles to the tank if i feather it. but in a 318.... feathering it is like idle.

How do you guys feel about a m50 wiring harness... all accesories.. ecu and trannsmission for 350$

Was in a bmw that crashed... upon impact the Engine mount broke.

So does that include the engine?

If not, it's still not a bad deal, but I thought you wanted power, and the M50 does not fulfill that void.

Yes it includes the motor... little worried though.. its been sitting since the spring with no oil in it... expecting rust on the inside.. i would need a rehone wouldnt i?

Could just be surface rust, if there is any.

Where was it stored?

I would at least bring some oil, fill er full, and turn the crank over.
