E82 / E88 1 Series (2008 - 2013)
BMWs throw back to the iconic 2002, with a renewed form and function. The smallest car in BMW's line up but still packs a punch. Available in coupe or convertible, powered by either an inline 6 in the 128 or the twin turbo rocket sled 135.

the 2011 135i your honest thoughts?

I'm in the market on picking up an AW 135i, 6 Spd Manual, Coral red Int, M-steering wheel, sports seats, shadowline trim, anthracite headliner?

I actually the car that I want with the exact package that I was looking for? I will trading my 2002 325i. Your thoughts?

the car is brand new for 42K sticker price. Should I do it?

I have that car on sap black, and couple other add-ons.
M-Steering wheel only? or do you mean M Sport?
Anyways, I love it. Its super fun to drive. As long as your not hauling 4 people around regularly you will love it.
I'm getting JB3 N55 stage 1 tune this weekend, should make it even more fun

Even if your a MT only kind of driver, I strongly recommend you give the DCT a chance.

I would suggest trying the DCT, but I would try and drive the car for a day or two if possible. If you are a MT guy, you will stay a MT guy. I have the DCT, nice tranny, but I wish I would have stayed with the MT. The DCT was cool at first, now it's just OK. I don't hate it, but with a MT I felt more connected to my car. Plus, you said the car you priced is 42K, add another $1500 for the DCT.

Plus, nothing like a proper MT launch...DCT launches are miserable and Launch Control doesn't let you modulate so it's pure burnout every time....ugh.

$42K for a car as ugly looking as the current 1 series? The Bangle Droop is hideous, and I'd keep my money and wait until BMW restyles the car. If you do buy one, get the coupe, because the Convertible is really goofy looking.

I drove a 135i DCT with M sport package and liked it. It was a bit snug for my right leg (up against the console) (6'2") whereas the 328i has more interior room up front.

It drove fine. I liked it.

It's a great little car, I bought a 2010 and its one of the funniest cars I have owned. As far as the looks, you either love it or hate very much like an X6.

White 2011 135i Coupe I ordered

I have 5000 miles on my 2011 coupe. Black leather interior with white exterior, M-Sport, upgraded Radio, blacked out grill, and...... I LOVE IT. Manual transmission and can't believe I kept my G-37 so long... I did extensive research on the 135 and like the other poster said:: unless you are driving around four people, you will love it. I have taken two other guys to lunch at work, and they gave me crap about how small the back seats are. Well, the handful of times a year I use the back seats, its worth it for me. I paid just uder 40k for it and would do it again. Get great gas mileage and it hauls butt.

Great car, but does push in corners. I plan to upgrade the sway bar and bushings soon. But thats it.
