I am very close to pulling the trigger on a beautiful 06' m5!

I was wondering if anyone could give an idea of what it might cost as far as maintenance and gas:

- its off warranty
- 40k miles

Gas is about 11mpg city average so do our math.
Maintenance is standard typical BMW; you can also buy the 2 yrs maintenance plan.

It is the repair that will cost you on this advanced V10 engine.
Have it check with BMW ; the car has history logs so you know whether it is in good shape.

Can you PM me what price you're getting it for please? I'm looking for a 545 but have intention of getting the M5 beast down the road.

I paid $53k for 2006 back in oct 2008. You get better deal now.

Maintenance cost will also depend on who you know and how much you know.
