Nice bike! That's what is nice about a GS......no need to stop when the pavement ends.

BTW, if anyone is interested in a like new 05 1200GS I've been giving some thought to selling mine. I've sort of lost the bug since buying my ZHP and could use the cash for other things.

2007 Aprilia RSVR Factory
was going to buy a S1000RR (still have a small refundable deposit down on one) but ran into this bike during the wait last year sitting stilll new in a dealership in Kansas for about 57% of retail and just couldnt pass it up as it was high on my drool factor for a long time before ownership
factory ohlins susp front and rear, OZ forged light weight wheels, factory carbon fiber all wrapped around a 143hp liquid cooled V-twin, the bike that won the masterbike competition for several years in a row!!

2008 Yamaha WR250R
My go anywhere bike, fuel injected with 26k miles valve inspection intervals (very long for a small dual sport) this bike is basically 1 cylinder off of the yamaha R1 motor. makes decent power and will haul my 220 lbs at a gps speed of 80+ great for bombing down dirt/gravel roads and single track not to mention around my ranch.

these three are IMHO def keepers as they each bring something fantastic to the table in being one of the best in their own certain niche of riding. and having three such bikes means never having to compromise on my bikes suitability for the type of riding I want to do on any given ride.

Yes, very partial to Aprilia Racing, was actually a paid driver in 2004, amazing. Also have KTM520EXC for my offroad bike.

thanks!! from all accounts the S1000RR is a fantastic bike, I am avoiding riding one as I do not want to spend the money and I am happy with my Ape. and I am afraid that would change.

here is my 01 lite and my previous 528 i do not have any other photos of the bike. the bike has aftermarket catless laser exhaust and a chip from previous owner i have no desire to do anything else. i have tracked it once and can not wait to get back out there it is such a blast.

I've always felt that Sportsters will never lose those classic lines. It's a very timeless design, one that will never go out of style.

Yeah, those Sporties will run 65-70 mph all day. In fact, mine LOSES that famous Harley vibration at the speed, so I'm always cruising just a bit faster than the normal speed limit.

I picked up my 6R 3 weeks ago. Will probably get a 10R in a year. Great looking bike.
