2007 BMW 328i (CPO) for 21.5K..is it a good deal

Hey Guys,
This is going to be my first BMW so I need the experts here to help me out. I came across a 2007 328i, with 34k miles on it (still under factory warranty until Sept 2011). It is a CPO car with 100k warranty until Sept 2013. The dealer is quoting a price of 21,500. Is this a good deal? I think it is and am worried it may not last long...so please let me know what you guys think..fast :-)

cheers..

I say its a pretty decent deal. Try to get it down to like 20.5? I have been looking for E90s -335i and I find them for around the 20k range with 50k-ish miles on them. I say go for it IMO. BMWs are great cars to drive hence; the ultimate driving machine.

thanks man!..I tried..that is the lowest they would go..they are one of the reputed BMW dealers here and i dont think they will come down anymore...I shopped around yesterday but this was the best i found..I may end up taking it..:-) cant wait.
Actually one of the other dealers mentioned that I should take it and not waste time shopping around..It was strange that he was trying to sell the car for another dealer :-)

I got the exact same Deal!
I shopped around for a while, and found a 2007 328i with 36k miles for 21,500. It was by far the best deal I could find.
I think they do a good job with the CPO certif. My car feels brand new.

Also ask for the car history. And how many owners it had, and where the car was I.E, in states with real winters there's salt on the roads etc. They have all that infromation, my salesman showed it to me before I thought to ask.

This was actually the first car I didn't buy in cash, and I was nervous about getting a loan in general.

But once I was driving home, all of my worries disappeared.

That being said, it's your choice. Do what you think is best.

Thanks..

One owner car..driven in GA..has a minor accident..according to the dealer and carfax it was slight damage in the front..they mentioned that bmw does not cpo cars that have moderate to major damage..so the fact that this was cpo'ed means that the accident was minor and cosmetic..

I have already put a hold on the car and will go tomorrow and finalize..

Coupe, Sedan, or Convertible? What kind of options does it come with?

The difference between a used 328i sedan with no options and a 328i convertible with every option could be as much as $10,000.....

Sounds good. If it helps, the two manual transmission CPO 2007 328i sedans I've been considering are priced at $25K for one with the cold weather package and 44K miles and $27K for a sport package and 28K miles, both off-lease with no accident history.

Edit - That's interesting about CPOing and damage. I wondered since another dealer (that I avoid) had a CPO 328i which showed two or three incidents with the back bumper, and I wondered how it got CPO status. I also wondered if whoever had it didn't quite grasp driving a manual transmission on hills or something, or maybe a family member didn't.
