How diificult was it to do ?

On a scale of 1 to 5 in difficulty, this is a 1. You are essentially swapping out the daytime running light bulb (H8). In short, unscrew the cap to the lighting housing, remove OEM bulbs, insert new H8 bulbs, screw caps back on, and your done!

I agree, it is very easy. However, the harness is a bit short so is you have big hands you have to be a bit of a contortionist to release the bulb from teh plug.

I did this mod last week as well. They look great at night and on cloudy days but they are barely visable on sunny days.

The GP Thunders are not super bright during the day. It probably has more to do with the colour of the light as you wouldn't expect white light to be super visible on a sunny day. I had Mtec's before going to the Lux and notice a significant difference in brightness. Others have tried Weisslicht bulbs and have seen similar results. This is just my 2 cents.
