my m50 doodooface swap

fact is it doesnt matter how thick the bottom is if the sides are still stock size. welding a plate simply puts that stress on other parts of the pan which are just as thin. bottom could be a thousand feet of solid aluminum and it means nothing, the sides/back will take that force and blow out just as easy. we are well aware welding an oil pan is common. its just not useful.

me and FCsteve both run ground control coilovers. i run 500f/700r he runs i think 500f/750r. low isn't anything like slammed. you will hit pan everywhere if you don't watch the road very carefully.

I asked about the coils to make sure there hasn't been a trend of cheap Racelands being adopted my E30's anywhere. GC is my drug of choice.

I don't think so. it's a consistent tight spot. turn it say an inch theres a tight spot. another inch, then a tight spot, so on and so forth. the rack didn't look bent when i replaced the subframe.

did you check the steering joint like i told you the other day ? i only mentioned it that 1 time on the phone and didnt ask if you actually checked it.

Check if its rubbing on anything. That same thing happened to me.

I was, haha, now I am driving with partial brakes, Steve and I were bleeding the brakes last night and the driver side rear caliper valve screw broke.

to be more precise. i was sitting in the car trying to sleep while he snapped the bleeder screw off the drivers rear caliper

sux...rebuilt all 4 of mine, pelican gives you double the boots and seals in their kits for the front.
