Stuck between a rock and a hard place.

I'm trying to figure out where I want to go with my 94 525i and I'm stuck between 2 choices that I find would work out well.

I have the bulk of it down, but I'm stuck when it comes to the drop/rims/tint.

Either way I will be importing a M5 "body kit" (stock kit) from Europe along with fog lights, smileys (with 6000k or 8000k HIDs in all the front lights, and frenched high beams), and tail lights. I'm going to put side markers on as well. I'm "blacking out" the interior by reupholstering all the leather/pleather/plastic in black leather/pleather/plastic, replacing all the cloth with black suede, and getting black carpet. As for the wood grain trim, I haven't decided whether or not to re-do it and keep it wood grain or paint the pieces black and coat them with high gloss clear coat.

Now comes the problem. I'm stuck between a "sport" or the VIP styles.
I've honestly never been into VIP, but a crazy notion got me thinking about it and when I ran it by a few people they said the car could sport it without problems. Now when I say I want to VIP it out, I'm not talking about 20" chrome wheels; I just want 18" chrome wheels. Of course, with any VIP styled car, it would be bagged and have dark tint.

With the "sport" style, I would drop it on coilovers with 17 or 18" wheels (BMW brand) and have moderate tint.

I'm personally leaning towards the VIP style because many of my peers and I agree that a BMW should be a "business" car and have a smooth ride. Bagging any car will be the smoothest ride you can get. With coilovers, as we all know, you feel every bump.

I've looked on Google images for something to base what I'm picturing in my head off of, but there isn't anything I see.

Found something!! Except instead of coilovers and copper rims, it's bags and chrome.

And my view is that this is an executive sports sedan. You should lower the car. It makes a stunning difference to its appearance. And once its lowered, the car morphs between VIP and sportiness fairly easily, you may end up straddling both world perfectly. Your car may look executive in the day, and sporty at night, for instance.

Bags or "Bagging the car" is a suspension set up. You see many lowered trucks with them now days because it's an adjustable suspension. Basically, I can set up the ride height to whatever I want it to sit at.

Its an air bag suspension. replaces the coil springs with bags.

5 or 6 speed= sport with coils

auto= bag and cut so it is so stupid low you cant turn when its slammed.

I'm thinking I'm gonna get coils and adjust them to a 1.5 inch gap between the fender and tire.

What has this forum come to, now that we are talking about bagging, cutting, and throwing 20" dubs on a sport sedan???!! The only thing you'd be missing after that is some candy paint, wood grain wheel, and some grillz.

Personally, I would get coilovers and 17- 18" silver alloy rims. Nice and clean.

Damn straight!
Alls i did was vogtland springs, bilstein shocks and struts, 17" style 32s, DTM splitters, and euro taillights. Cleanest E34 around my area!

If you would read the first post I said I would not be putting big 20" chrome rims on the car. If I were to do it, I would put on 18" BMW brand rims. But I also said that I'm going to put coilovers on her and 17" rims.

dude, an auto isnt really sport. period. so bagging an auto would be perfect.

Oh....that HURT ! lololol

i just cant roll canyons here in so cal with an auto. but a dropped to the floor e34 on staggered style 5's and stock body would be sick!
