Radio problem

When changing my spark plugs i unplugged the battery after i finished everything i plugged it back in and the radio wasnt working anymore theres a CODE ------ and i dont know about any codes for a radio. also the manual didnt say anything useful any 1 know of anything that can help? all advice welcome. thank you all

Well, if after looking through all the manuals you should have gotten when you got the car, you don't find the card with the radio code, you have to go visit the dealer.

You have to get the serial # either from the back of the radio, or turn the radio on while holding the "mode" button. Show the dealer proof of ownership, and the serial # and they will look it up and charge you for the privilege.

Cheaper option. Ask the dealer for the little screw drive to get it out. Like $20, maybe less. Get the serial # off the back and they can tell you the code. I had the same problem. And make sure you write that down somewhere.

How is that cheaper? The dealer is going to charge you to retrieve the code. (at least most do)

mine didn't. I just told them the serial # and they looked it up for me all i had to do was buy the tool

FYI - Bavauto sells a little gismo you plug into cig lighter, connected to 9V battery. Keeps power to radio, so you don't go through this again. Course once you have serial #, I guess you won't care.
