06 4.8is : DSC/4x4 warning only when cold ?

Greetings.

Sorry to have first ever post as a problem but I promise to provide solutions own the road as well.

My 06 4.8iS has 55k and has recently developed a habit of having the DSC/4x4 warning light come on when I start up and drive away cold. Seemes to me it was when I was reversing that that may just be because I drive in forwards.

From some reasearch, and as a preventative measure, I replaced the battery and light came on for a while then went off after 2 mins of driving.

This morning sub 40 degrees, on it comes again and so I drive directly to dealer, I make an appointment to drop it off tonight and sure enough, light off again when I drive away.

I will get it diagnosed at dealer rates but just looking for a heads up.
