fastest 0-60 of Z3M

i just tested the 0-60 of my 1998 Z3M and it was 4.9 bone stock just with some grippy tires. what is the fastest anybody has ever gotten there 0-60 in a Z3M?

3.7 seconds, but then I woke up and drove my 20 year old Camry to the McDonalds I work at.

the s54s ones gotta fly, a lot more power than s52...
no idea how the gearing works. but power to power s54 has to be a lot faster than s52.

You want magazine racing or actual real world numbers?

I didn't have a stopwatch, but the ride I took in a certain member's supercharged S54 made me believe that he did 0-60 is right around 0 seconds. 60-0 seemed to take around the same time. I may have left some organs in that passenger seat.

For me it isn't the 0-60 lurch that leaves the greatest impression. Its the 40-80 move that seems to take only about 2 seconds in my car as I jump on a high from a crowded on ramp and around the slower cars merging as well as some of the cars already in traffic.

LOL! When I built Zoran's T/S (now Jen's) it felt like it did 0-60 in about two (2) seconds.

In any case, you could've melted and blown the tread off the rear tires in about one (1) minute, if you just held in a gear and smoked them.

The BMW Buyer's Guide by Fred Larimer quotes a factory time of 5.1s for the coupe, 5.2 for the roadster. These are famously conservative, usually by .2s or so.

my z4m w, intake exhaust did 4.1 seconds recorded on track and 3.8 on r888 ...0-60 has too many variables imo
