Defrost but no heater
I have a 1993 E36 with what appears to be a heater control problem. Temp comes up to center in reasonable amount of time. Radiator has been bled, no bubbles.
If you have the climate control on max heat and the knob in the full defrost position, you get plenty of heat through the defrosters. If you then turn the control to the dash outlets, you'll get a brief amount of heat but it quickly turns cold! Any thoughts on how to get the heater turned on? |

Sounds like a stuck duct flap.

How do you get to and unstick the duck flap?

Fixed, I tried cycling the heat from defrost about 3 dozen times and it finally freed up the flap. Heat is back to norma!!
