Mein Auto: getting an X5 diesel
Wood trim choice

Hello I'm new here and hoped to get some suggestions.

We are ordering the X5d and decided on the sand beige perforated leather (only other choice was black). Now we just have to decide on the wood trim....

Light Poplar or dark burl walnut. I can't really tell a difference but anyone with experience with these two options with a light interior, darker exterior will be helpful.

The exterior will be the Blue.

We have to tell them by tomorrow.

Thanks!

Can you find a car on the lot with both color combinations? If so, take a look and pick whatever pleases your eye.

I'd get the dark burl with the sand beige if it was me!

Are you unable to buy that which you prefer?
If 10 people liked something that you found less than satisfactory, would your mind be changed by the consensus?

Do you ask your neighbors to vote on the color you ought to paint your house?

Were you one of the kids in 6th grade that asked all of the girls to vote on the cutest boy?

I'd be happy with either. I just wanted to see what other people thought, no need to get angry.

Maybe I want to see what the most popular option was and then choose the opposite. No need to get nasty.

Take a look at the 5 series on their lot, that helped me when choosing interiors. They are similar in color and wood choices.

None. There both horrible. BMW should offer more non wood options. The aluminum looks great when new but scratches easy. The best trim is the carbon leather but only available on the M cars.

I ordered a sand beige interior.

And turned it down when I saw it in person.

Beige interior represents everything against the aggressive nature of all bmw's.
