The BMW CA website lists the heated front seats and steering wheel as standard equipment.

What is of minor concern are the stereo options, or the lack thereof in Canada. The xDrive28i comes with the base 5-speaker system which will undoubtedly sound like crap, and I don't think there's an option to upgrade. The xDrive35i comes with the Hi-Fi Loudspeaker system (12 speakers, 2 subs) standard but lacks the option to upgrade to the Professional Hi-Fi (16 speaker) system.

And your point is? These sound systems are the worst I have ever heard in any stock set up. I wish I could "opt out" of them and save the money.

Actually thinking of putting pkg deals together for folks to make them plug and play like BSW without the exhorbitant cost.

Just looked at the new X3 the other week. The mgr and salesperson tried to show off the new technology in the sav as a selling point. I informed them before they embarrass themselves to hop in my car.

The look on their faces was absolute amazement.

And I have to add it is considerably cheaper than the "uber" add on system
