E21 Leaks front both sides

Hi, I have a 1981 e21 318 and it has just been repaired with a new bonnet and front left quarter panel. I have not had the car in winter myself so it could have leaked before but now it leaks very badly so I have it under cover but that wont last forever.

Were are the common leaks in the e21 that would cause this?

what is it leaking?? Oil or water?? Can you see where?

Water from outside, I have been told that the cowling in front of the windscreen can become blocked with debris, but this flows and I dont know how to access. Then i also hear it may be windscreen, which is possible but the windscreen is freshly installed in the last 3 years so i had discounted.. mayhaps. The water first appeared on the drivers side floor, I took up the carpet as much as possible to see, but couldnt really see source. I took it to the panel beaters who did the crash repair work, but they weren't interested.

I will check again for rust in bulkhead, otherwise must be windsceen yah??
