Do i have a 325 IS or 325I

I remember reading that the IS comes with LSD and the I does not. I'm not sure what the other differences might be. When I run my VIN 325I shows. the badge on the rear fell off before I bought the car but you can see an outline that looks like "IS." Is there anything I can just look at on the car that would tell me which model I have?

Just run your vin code and see what it says.

I know lots of guys remove the oil coolers, since they're not necessary for a daily driver. But I was under the impression that every i car came with one. I guess they could be ordered without one as well.....

The vin will answer his question though.

You are correct about that one. But this one works. Shows my is as an is anyway.

I'll have to look then. There's one I've seen that differentiates between the two, I thought it was that one....

no, there are plenty of non-sport 2 doors. that was not a way to distinguish them.

I've used one that does it in the past. I just can't remember which one it is, I thought it was the first one I posted, but apparently not.

he was on realoem i believe...they don't acknowledge the is ( for the 325, they do show a 318is though). i would think the oil cooler would let him know. or like steve said...sport seats, premium audio, steering wheel.

that is an I lip. those are sport seats. there was an IS there, but who knows if it was stock.

you can have an IS that doesnt have some of the sport options. i have an IS that doesnt have sport front seats.
