Not much happening ... people are Christmas shopping, shovelling snow and there Z toy is tugged in the garage waiting for nicer weather of course. Then you are enjoying that great California weather

60" of snow at Mammoth, CA, rain in So Cal, & Christmas shopping with the top up. Ride on Rolf - spring will be here before you know it!

Just past 5k miles, all exhilarating! It's been raining all day and it's supposed to rain all next week, sucks keeping the top up! But spring will be here soon enough !

Yes, unfortunately my Z is tucked away in the garage, covered up, and anxiously awaiting better weather. Speaking of which, for those of you who don't drive your Z much during winter months, what type of steps do you take to store your car? I did a wax, gas treatment, and trickle charger, along with the custom cover. Not much else, though I hear some gummy-pflege the seals. Any other steps we should be taking?

Atty, this is my storage list:

1. Pump up the tires
2. Gummi treatment
3. Fuel treatment, let car run about 15 mins before storing
4. Full tank of gas
5. Leave the car in neutral, e-brake off and wheel blocks to keep car from rolling
6. Cover
7. Trickle charger
8. Wait for spring!

2. 1Z gummi pflege on all rubber seals
3. Stabil Fuel treatment
4. Full tank of gas
5. BMW OEM fitted car cover
6. Trickle charger
7. Moth balls in small trays by all wheels and under front end of car (mouse deterrent)
8. Steel wool in exhaust pipes (see above)

Snow delay, LOL. Should have picked up today, instead had the dealership mount my snow tires/wheels and will likely pick up next Tuesday.

Atty, I parked my 2008 z4 30is (now traded) last winter. All I did based on BMW recommendations was increase tire pressure by 4 pis and removed the battery. I did take her out about 3 times for a spin weather permitting (nice dry roads). All worked out fine for me.

I meant to ask you, how did you manage to get that exterior and interior colour combination?

(Melbourne Red Metallic, Walnut Extended Leather), on Canadian sites if you choose Walnut Extended Leather they don't alow you to keep the Melbourne Red Metallic
