Ghost windows

My 2003 Z4 driver window goes down, but not up. Passenger used to do the same, occasionally gowing up and down on its own. I meticulously cleeaned both circuit boards for window switch and the passenger side is good again. If anybody knows a fix, this is a real pain in the...

You can reset the window regulator so the window knows where it is.

With the window at the top,

Press the switch to lower the window and hold in one operation for 20 seconds

Then run the window up and hold in one operation for 20 seconds.

Do the same operation for the other window as well.

Your window should be reset at this point.

In the 03's the passenger window will not go up with one touch operation. only after 04/04 build did this become available.
