Replacement Carpet

I need to replace the carpet that covers the permanent (The piece that remains in the car after you've taken out the removable cover.) part of the rear hatch floor. Next to the bulkhead.


Any suggestions for a source?

It seems that according to the chart the oem part is the entire floor cover in 2 pieces - backing and carpet. (for around $200) I just need the carpet. An aftermarket supplier would probably be better (and cheaper) than oem. Thanks for the info though.

I dunno... in the world of BMW ownership, $200 is a pretty cheap date. You might find a slightly cheaper aftermarket solution, but I'm guessing the difference in quality won't be worth the difference in price.

Your best bet for cheap is a parts car or a junk yard.

After-market carpet will not have the 1+ inch of padding attached to it, so it will look strange and ill-fitting.
