Has anyone been able to fit 2 carseats & a booster in their X5?

Specifically, a infant seat (for a newborn), a convertible car seat (1y.o.) & a booster (5y.o.)? I'd need to fit 2 convertibles in about a yr...

I'd like to get the third row & let my 5y.o. sit back their occasionally but would like to be able to fit all 3 in the 2nd row for longer trips...

Depending on the seats you have it may be possible. I could not do it with the seats that I have.

I would take this question to the car-seat.org boards - if nobody has done it in an X5, they can surely tell you what car seats/boosters puzzle well together and tend to fit three across.

I have two Frontier 85s in the outboard seats and there is no way I could fit a booster in the middle, but surely there are smaller seats that would work.

in our old 2001 x5 (which we have since sold) we were able to get three booster seats side-by-side in the rear seat. it takes some wrangling to get all three kids buckled in, but it did work. i dont know if we would be able to get two baby car seats and a booster seat side by side. however, as i recall, the newer x5's are a little wider than the older ones. probably by an inch or so? i could be wrong, though.
