Blower not working
I've got a 2002 X5 and the blower isn't working. I did some reading on other threads and found that it was probably the final stage resistor - I replaced the resistor but the problem was not solved. Any other suggestions?

Did you check all breakers?
Hope you blower motor isn't burned, changing the motor is very complicated procedure. |

Yes, I've checked all the breakers/fuses and they seem fine. Is there anything else it could be or does this mean the motor is probably burned?

As I remember a huge 50A breaker in a glovebox is protecting a blower circuit
Some possible problems: a bad contact is somethere, AC control is broken. I would recommend to ask a dealership or indy to make a diagnostic and check the circuit, you may save some money later and replace a broken part himself. The problem is that in order to get access to blower motor you will need remove central concole (a lot of work!) |

Alright, I think I'll take it in and have them diagnose the problem for me. Thanks for your help.
