i'm using a HTC MyTouch Android 2.2 on my 2007 with no problems. Were you able to successfully pair it before? Try removing the device completely and pair again.

No issues with my wife's Samsung Galaxy S (AT&T variant). Bluetooth audio (Pandora) works flawlessly.

Can you get a hold of another phone with bluetooth to test it? try pairing with another phone and see. You want to narrow it down to either the BMW bluetooth or the phone's bluetooth that the problem.

1. It is possible to turn BT off, both on the car and on the phone. Check this first.
2. The issue isn't with Android, it's with the device. BT is incredibly frustrating. You would think that all BT devices use the same sytem settings, but they do not. Sometime the compatability issue is with the car, sometimes with the phone. E.g. my Pantech Duo pairs flawlessly with my 2011 X5, but has lots of problems with my 2008 X5 and 2008 M3. 3. Don't expect any help from BMW, unless you are using one of the devices on their incredibly short list: iPhone, BB, Sony Ericsson, a couple others. Go "off the reservation" and you are on your own. I tried out the new HTC Inspire (4G Android phone) this past weekend, and loved it. The haptic feed back when texting was really great. But I may wind up getting an iPhone instead, just so I don't have BT issues like yours. Let us know what you find as you trouble shoot this.

Our 2011 Z4 35i seems to have trouble remembering to pair with my EVO by Sprint for phone use. However, it's new, so we'll see.
I haven't been able to pair streaming audio by bluetooth at all. I am using the USB connector, which charges, but does not pair the phone or for music. Does anyone out there have any suggestions or hacks? |

Motorola Droid2 paired with no issues. Works great, address book copies fast and text messages show up in the iDrive Office. Only issue is when I go back and forth between the X5 and my Volvo. I get back in the BMW and no connection, I have to restart the phone, then it works great. I think this is from Volvo's BT, not the phone or BMW's BT. It works flawlessly until I get back in the Volvo. Before I bought the X5, I had to restart the phone frequently or the Volvo would not recognize it.
