It is available as a separate option, depending on market. In Germany, it's bundled with the auto-dimming interior and exterior mirrors.

On my 35i that I got yesterday, the driver side mirror folds back electronically. The button for it is next to the mirror adjuster buttons.

I just went down to the x3 and pushed the button and both mirrors fold in electronically at the same time.

I am having fun discovering all of the features on my car. Feel free to ask about anything, I am just learning all that it has to offer.

I had one funny experience already, this morning I was at Starbucks and my dog was in the car and the alarm went off because of her motion. After checking, I discovered that I can deactivate the interior motion sensor by quickly double clicking the lock button on the key fob.

+1! Yes, bot fold up, but not like in my 330. they steak out slightly and if you forgot to unfold them back, as soon as your car reach 15 mph they will unfold automatically
