Black Nevada with Dark Burll Walnut or Light Poplar

Getting ready to order and would appreciate view points and pics of the Black Nevada Perforated with one of two trims...

The Dark Burl is the default choice when ordering so every dealer will have one with Black Nevada/Dark Burl. My dad has this combo and I hate it because its all swirly and dark. If it was my car and wasn't a lease, I'd swap it out for aluminium or the Bamboo. The latter has a nice grain that makes it a bit more modern even if it is quite dark.

The light wood is alright, works best with Beige but it doesn't look half bad on anything else.

I really like the Bamboo option too.... more modern.

I really appreciate your thoughts and input. SO much money and I just want it to be as close to perfect as it can.
I didn't know "aluminium" was even an option.

If anyone else has pictures of an X5 with Nevada and different trims, would again appreciate it.

My nevada black interior w/poplar (apologize for the strange effect on the pic, the lens was dirty as it turned out. side effect of having a 3 year old..):

I just picked my X5 up this week. Went with the Bamboo and love it.

I searched some classified online postings. Not easy to find wood trim in Germany (Germans generally don't find it tasteful) but there's a few.

If it's any indication of how bad and unpopular the Walnut-Black leather combo is in Germany, it took me 7 pages of ads to find that last vehicle!

I am guessing you mean its very popular as you can't find a copy.

It's unpopular because very few folks order that combo, hence few classifieds with it. There are almost no vehicles with Black leather and Dark Walnut. Most Germans order their cars to spec and preference unlike the US.

Mine has black perf with bamboo. Love it. Get compliments all this time. But it really is just a personal choice with no correct answer. It's your vehicle - get what YOU want. I would caution you however, that I have seen one with the aluminum trim and it is way too much considering there are already several pieces of aluminum in the cabin. Gives it a real sterile feel if you know what I mean.
