Using a battery tender with the X3...

Quick question: when using a battery tender on the X3, should I connect the positive clip from the tender to the positive battery post and the negative clip to the chassis, or the other way around? Thanks in advance..

I connected my Battery Tender lead to the jumper points under the hood. I've been using it this way for almost a year now with no issues and the Battery Tender will charge and go to float mode like my other vehicles that I user a BT on.
