Convenient Acess Question

For those with convenient access, when you turn the car off by pushing start/stop button, do you notice your nav screen still running?

My 35i turns off nav only when I lock the car.
So when I am putting in gas, nav screen would be up the whole time.

Is there a setting in iDrive to make it turn off as soon as start/stop is pushed to stop?

Thanks,

If after turning the car off by pushing the on/off button with your foot on the brake then you can push the start/stop button without your foot on the brake, all of the electronics turn off.

I just hold the button for 3 seconds or so or until I see the navi screen go dark.

Just push the button a second time without your foot on the brake. Else it will stay on for 8 minutes, I think.
