iPod connection in center console
Just bought a 535i, and should have ability to connect a iPod and its songs to the car's iDrive and stereo. The console has jacks for a USB and aux connections. This is an extra cost option.
So why didn't Bayside BMW, where I bought the 535i, include the Y cable - which is needed to make it work? |

If the car was built after ~Sep 1, 2010, it will have the "ComboBox" and you only need to use the standard "Apple White iPod Cable" that came with your iPod. "Y" cable is no longer needed.
