Oh I knew, just teasing :P

I don't see many E60s with standards in them. That post is the second I ever recall.

Selling a nice, grey, classic 535i. Sunroof, leather seats, new tires, 5-speed. Very very minimal rust. NO ENGINE OR TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS. Fair/good paint condition and interior. Looks good. Runs well. This car has never been a problem and I have been very happy with it.

Mileage: 194,000

Selling because the car horn started blowing by itself in the driveway. (You read that right.) *****Shortly thereafter the alternator went out.**** I have been told that a wire has shorted in the vehicle and the repair can be "anywhere from 1 to 20 hours. Hard to say." We do not have the money to fix what may be an open-ended solution so we have to sell. Muffler is also a little loud because it is not standard to the BMW, but this is how I've been driving it.

Interested call John/Kim at 248-635-3555. Serious inquiries only please.

For the harness, there is a guy that does the OBD2 to OBD1 harness that is essentially plug and play for the e36.

Here is some good reading:

Seams like it would be cheaper just to switch over the ECU and everything.

Since when does 3000 were built mean one of a kind? The guy is obviously a dumb ****, but it looks clean and hopefully he hasn't owned it long enough to do any serious damage.
