Blue Smoke?

Took my wife's q7 to pick up my new bike (yeah) last night and noticed blue smoke coming out of the tails on acceleration. What is this indicative of? Head gasket? Pretty sure the factory warranty is in effect. Car is under 4 yrs and under 50k. Praying this is the factory warranty terms. You think I would know!

That's what I thought. White smoke is coolant getting into the crankcase and blue is oil. Right?

What is the usual culprit for oil?

White is either coolant or water vapor (on startup), blue is oil and black is unburnt fuel. This could be caused by bad oil control rings or by worn valve guides.

sounds about right,do you follow the factory required oil change at 15k miles?? If so there you go.

Mein Auto: Many things
IIRC oil under acceleration would be a sign of worn rings, not valve seals, but I can't remember for sure.
