privacy glass

Contacted my CA about the privacy glass. It comes standard on the X3 for the rear windows. Is this just tinted glass or factory darkened glass? Has anybody put really dark tint on their X3?

Regards

It is tinted glass (incorporated into the glass), not a tint film. The factory tint is pretty dark, probably the legal limit in most areas.

For the record, in Canada (Quebec), there is no limit on the rear and rear sides window tint.

Front lateral windows must let in 70% of light. The windshield must let in 100% of light, except for a 15cm band at the top which can be tinted to any level.
