Service has to be within 100 miles?
Did BMW just change their free maintenance program? Usually if the car has around 500 miles left for next service, your dealer performs the service. And that has been the experience for me all along.
When I was making a service appt for my 08 X5 today, a service advisor from local BMW dealer said the milage has to fall within 100 miles til next service in order to get the "free maintenance". For someone who rarely drives their BMW, it may be possible, but for someone who drives a lot, timing that against their "we dont' have any spot for that day" service schedule would be impossible. Is this just this local dealer or other BMWs are like this now?
