2011 X5 - how to replace amber side markers with clear ones?
Hi, fellow 'Festers,
we just picked up our sweeeeeet 2011 X5 Diesel and absolutely love the car, inside and out. The only thing that bugs me is the amber side markers. I'd really like to have them replaced with clear side markers, but it seems like this is all but a quick 'rip-and-replace' type job. Anyone did this? I'd appreciate any help & advice!

There's a DIY post here:
http://www.xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-foru...-swap-diy.html But it's on a 2007 (or 2008) e70. I haven't seen anyone do it on an '11 yet with the new front bumpers... let us know how it goes! |

I believe u have to take off your bumper for this since there's no room whatsoever.
