Thanks for your pic. We did go to a dealer yesterday that has a TG 535 on the lot. We got there and the car was in the shade so we shopped and had lunch. We went back and it was in the sun. A lot of difference in the color. When the sun is shining directly on a body panel it brings out the green, otherwise the car looks more bluish grey to me. Thanks again.

I think I will get this color next time. Different shades in different settings. Its like having different car all the time.

Car came from California so it had the front plate so i have temporarily used some touch up paint on plastic plugs and put them in there

I really don't want to drop the car or run spacers to get more aggressive... but maybe sometime in the future. Performance diffuser will be installed soon (M-tech diffuser for sale). Also needing to get clear/tinted reflectors. Comments are welcome. :thumsup:

I really like what you've done-we certainly have had some similar thoughts. I recall your disappointment at the lack of the aluminum dead-pedal so I'm surprised you still have stock pedals, and the reflector change which you mentioned planning to do is typically early on the list (I did mine recently after purchasing the custom painted replacements several months prior, I can tell you it is an easy job you can do in a couple hours on the first nice spring day). Those are some very sharp looking wheels! I hadn't seen the alcantara for the wheel anywhere before and I really like it and would like to know where to source it and how difficult it was. Will be interested to see some shots of the rear after the new diffuser gets installed too.

Interesting also that as similar as our taste in cars and mods are, we also took delivery last year only a few weeks apart too!

I like the OEM Performance products, but the BMW pedal set was unappealing. I will be doing the reflector upgrade when I get my diffuser painted - I'm leaning towards clear versus blacked out. The alcantara switch cover for the wheel is available at any BMW parts store. Fairly easy to do with only three torx screws (I had someone more experienced install it ).

These are OEM BMW Performance grilles, so the gloss on them matches the shadowline. Not sure why people plasti-dip or spray them, they are one of the less expensive mods.

Finally got around to taking some better quality pictures. I just painted and installed the grills today. I am trying to keep it simple and clean. I hope you enjoy.

March 2010 delivered Montego Blue. I think I saw 1 or 2 Ds here with this shade of blue. I gave her first personal hand car wash today at my friend's house.
