X3 N52 engine Lifters noise

First of all my 2011 X3 xdrive28i is excellent, good performance, good gas millage, good handling and the Brake Energy Regeneration is excellent saving brakes and charging the battery.

Sometimes I have noises during the first few minutes when I start the N52 engine - engine cold only.
Basically there is not enough oil pressure for the lifters when starting from cold so you have to get some high RMP to get the oil flowing and use Castol 0W30 oil (better than 5W30 or 5W40) because it flows better at cold when the engine is first started.

"Drive it really really hard and it’ll last you.”

High engine rpm’s = high oil pressure = thicker pillow between moving parts = Longer lasting engine.
