Oil change intervals on X3s in NA
Hi,
Does any one know what is the oil change intervals here in NA for BMWs? (specially the new X3s) In Europe we used to change the oil every 30,000km I know it partly has to do with the oil quality, whether conditions,... I've heard in NA it is every 8,000km??!!!! Is that true???  thx

BMW specs do not have a set mileage. The car's Condition Based Service system tells when to change the oil. It is roughly 15,000 miles. Most Bimmerfesters prefer about a 7,500 mile interval.

Actually the oil change is about every 30000km or 18000mi now.
