1990 325i wipers dont work, speedo works when it wonts to no cruise control

Just curious if any of you guys/ gals can give me some direction. The wipers and cruise do not work and the speedometer works when it wonts to. also it idles rough but some times the idle is fine. Any info would be great thanks.

idle and cruise can be linked to a vacuum leak. speedo will be more towards SI batteries

Try checking all your fuses? did wonders for me... (damn thing had 4 blown/missing fuses when i got it)

Are the wipers totaly dead? Check the fuses otherwise you need a circuit diagram and a Multimeter!

The speedo and cruise control get their input from a sensor on the rear differential....check the connector is good and the wires are not fraying to ground somewhere!

wipers are completly dead, the speedo works very rarely and was leaning more towards the speed sensor rather then the si batteries. The odometer dosnt work either and if im not mistaken the speedo and odometer are linked together and when one goes out so does the other. I could care less about the cruise control. Just need to get the wipers and speedo/odometer fixed as i live in michigan and it rains whenever the hell it feels like it. Ill check over fuses.

The odometer is separate from the speedo, there is a small gear in the odometer that gets stripped as it ages.. mine stoped working at 230k , but the speedo still works fine to this day..

Check the speedo circuit board. Does it work on warmer days and/or after the cars been running for awhile? It's probably a crack in the solder routes. That's what the issue was for me. As for wipers being dead... I'm still trying to figure that one out too.
