Anyone concerned about radiation contamination?

Fellow new/future BMW owners,

I ordered my BMW a few weeks ago then realized that some parts might be imported from Japan.

I can't help thinking about the possibility of the radiation contamination due to the Japan nuclear leak last month.

Does anyone else has the similar concern? What can we do to have the peace of mind other than canceling the order?

I would have no concerns especially since there has been a stepped up monitoring of all parts shipments/cars coming into the country from Japan for radiation.

Have you ever been to Denver? If so, you've most likely exposed yourself to more radiation than you will ever get from your car.

Not at all. You probably get much much more radiation if you ever take an X-ray or MRI.

No. Not worried about that because there's no reason to worry about that. Am far more worried about the fact the you're worried about it than I am worried about it.

+1 I was in Denver recently and heard that this was one of their local "problems". As a New Yorker living in Seattle now, who knew???
