Make sure the "battery %" indiator is not showing on the dash info center...If so, have 'em take it out of transport mode!!

Ask for a screenprint of the retail delivery report to BMWNA that it is regsitered properly to you. Humans are fallible and the sales secretary may get some info wrong when he/she transmits the info thru the dealer communications system.

Glen,
What is actually the retail delivery report and what should I expect to see in it?

You should not "expect" to see it- it is just the internal piece of paper thst spits put of the computer when they tell the mfr they sold it and to whom. It,s just your name, address and new VIN. Whem you buy a new computer, you register it, same her,e except they do it...and sometimes they can do it wrong And you might miss some communictions from bmw. Other way to do it is take delivery, WAIT A WEEK, and call bmw cust relations and ask them who is registered to the VIN.

Picked mine up today and it was the easiest transaction EVER. No pressure, no ploys, just paperwork that was short and sweet and pre-filled out. Literally took all of 5 minutes. My CA was fantastic to work with so I suppose that helps! I even got the upgraded 309 wheels that the factory put on by mistake for free Dealer said "enjoy them"!
