O.k. gang, in a nutshell our plan is to feature different BMW's each hour, with four separate segments as follows:


7:00 am - The Oldest, Classic or Antique, Vintage BMWs.

8:00 am - The Most Expensive, Custom, Modified BMWs

9:00 am - The Newest, Stock BMWs.

1:00 pm - The Bimmerfest Event with more examples of vehicles that will be competing or on display at Bimmerfest.


So far, many of you have expressed an interest in joining us for this unique opportunity, and have posted in this thread. Nonetheless, please repost your intentions here in this thread...

PLEASE help me coordinate this "mini-event" by following-up with a post in this thread specifying your name or "handle", and a ultra-brief description of your BMW automobile. BMW motorcycles might be cool too!

Last year's turnout was phenomenal, let's do it again!!!

Thank you to everyone who showed up today. It was great for me to combine 2 of my passions in one morning.....My job and BMWs. I just saw the segments on my DVR and they looked great. See you at Bimmerfest tomorrow.

First time going to bimmerfest and the ktla pre bimmerfest coverage was a lot of fun. Nice meeting everyone there, had a lot of good conversations! Can't wait for tomorrow!

I was in attendance at the pre-bimmerfest event last year. I couldn't make it this year. Nor will I be attending tomorrow's festivities. Nonetheless, I have this year's clips in HD on my computer and will upload them shortly.

My friend Dave with the other 1957 green BMW Isetta had a blast at the show too!

If anyone got the chance to get any video of our little police car and the crazy chase with the other German Patrol cars from Arizona around the Bimmerfest compund during the show, please let me know!

It was hilaruos, I had no ide there were other Polizei and Fire vehicles there until then! Those Arizona guys are great.


I was driving the littlle Isetta with no chance to tape it and I'd love to have a copy!!!
