M60 into an e36ti ?

Hy guys, first post, I'm fitting a 3.0 manual into my e36 318ti'sh, i'm doing yet more retro fitting and putting in an e36 subframe/crossmember as the e30 has a front sump like the m60.

I have a diagram for the wiring, but its m60 into an e30, so what I need to find, is a wiring plan for an m42 into an e30, that way if there is difference i know what pins to swap.

m60 lump is going in here.

and with the M60 im assuming you know the work around using the 318's sensors to detect engine speed right? (thats why you need the 318-e30 wiring diagram?)

well I have the details wire by wire to fit the e34 v8 loom into an e30

so this started with an m44, so if i can find m44 into an e30, then if any of that conversion is different in the pin possition, I can back track

need to make this for the wiring

this has the e34 m60 one end, and e30 the other.

there is also a splice into the abs loom that sorts speed sensors

more pics you say?

BMW e36 318ti'sh

Sitting high at the mo, but thats because the engine is sitting on top of the Anti Roll Bar, and too far forward bescuse the steering rack would be in the way, but thats very easy to get round, you just need to move the steering rack back wards, and have a rear fitting ARB, and in 1 fell swoop, to solve both these problems, you just fit an e30 front crossmember, straight swap.

No offense to you, or the hard work put into it, but that looks hideous.

yup, pretty much what he said, and the escort was beyond repair, and all e36 ti are scrap in my opinion, so was dirt cheap.

so just these 2 bits to madify
