The M Footrest

I love the M Footrest but it is not available for purchase online. BMW Parts department sell an M footrest for the X5. Does anyone know if the X5 footrest is the same size as the X3?

Not sure. I have both and could measure them I guess. But I also suspect that there will be parts available down the line. They are probably hard to find now because it is a production item and not a true "accessory" like cargo liners, etc. They will wait until there is a surplus.
