Love my new x3 but...

Have a little over 650 miles now on my x3 35i. I am starting to really love this car. It does handle great. It leans a little, but is really planted. I have opened it up a little now and this car is a rocket, has great passing power, and gets really good gas mileage to boot. I no longer miss my 3 series, the x3 is a lot more versatile and will be a great addition to our family.

schwartzblack, I really liked the ex35 as well, if it had more space, I might have pulled the trigger. I love the vq engine, and the suspension setup is really good. Maybe they will up the size next gen.

Yeah the EX35 is definitely a "personal" crossover. Rear seatroom is just barely ok, and trunk space is tiny. To be honest the main factor in buying it was the price. After VPP and incentives, it cost $11k less than a similarly equipped X3 and $5k less than even a 328xi. Price being equal I'd love to have the Bimmer esp with the 3.0L twin turbo, but I just couldn't bear to fork out the extra $$.

I have a feeling Infiniti might drop the EX since sales are so low (barely 450/mth nationwide).

When is the last time the EX was updated? It is getting long in the tooth.

Personally I'd get the 3 series Touring. For all we know, you might see the last leg of the touring models.
