Which dealership did you use and who's your salesman? You go to VOB?

Seems like a good deal to me, if they can reproduce those kind of results I'll drive down there and place my order with them.

And below is the price I Paid.
MSRP = $46,575 ($45,700 + Dest Charges: $875)
Invoice = $43,230 ($41,955 + Dest Charges: $875 + MACO: $200 + Training: $200)
And I placed the order for $44,500(Sale Price:$42,960.68 + Processing fee: $100 + 3% VA Sales Tax: 1,291.82 + Title & Tags: $147)

As per my calculations I am paying $270 less than invoice($43,230 - $42,960)

I have got an order number which is slated for production in Week 18(I am not sure if it is the 1st week of may or the 2nd week)

What do you guys think. Is this a good deal?

Yesterday, I looked at the pricing for a new X3 using the COSTCO web buying service. Got to the point where they show an Invoice price and an MSRP, but it doesn't show you the pre-negotiated purchase price. For that, you have to go the next step of sending your contact information and COSTCO membership # to a dealer and I'm not ready yet to engage with a dealer.

Can you provide insight on what the actual purchase price is vis a vis Invoice and MSRP?

Mc Kenna is not the largest volume dealer by far.. the #1 is Crevier. The difference with McKenna is that they take ALL of their allocated cars while the majority only keep what they actually need... therefore rejecting a % of allocated vehicles.

Truecar already invoice MACO + training in their invoice cost (as does BMW), so that's actually invoice +500. still a great deal
really surprised anyone is getting better than that unless there's a specific quota that your order would help the CA hit (e.g. 49th car of the month)

Called a few places last week and best I got was Invoice + 500 Including (MACO + Training). Which is probably Invoice + 0 if MACO/Training is 500

When I placed my order earlier this week, the dealership e-mailed me the Vehicle Inquiry Report which listed both the invoice and MRSP. The MACO/training fee was a line item on the invoice cost, but was a N/C on the MRSP line. I believe that Costco, Zag and Edmunds are not listing the MACO/ training fee to calculate the invoice, but the dealerships are charged the MACO/training fee by BMWNA. Yesterday, I looked at the pricing for a new X3 with COSTCO, Truecar.com, and the Amex buying service. The MSRP shown by COSTCO was the same as the MSRP from the BMW web site, but with both Truecar and Amex the quoted MSRP was something like $1400 higher.

I think your post here may explain that is due to the cited extra fees. But why would Truecar and Amex add that to the MSRP versus accounting for them in the pre-negotiated selling price which is what I assume COSTCO does? It made me suspicious of those two sites.

Hey guys all the 3rd party websites do not add MACO or TSF as those change by region so there is no way for them to know. As long as you have a BMW DCS printout of the invoice that is the true # you need to work off.

#1 Is Vista in Florida.....

only the dealer can give you a DCS printout

USAA / Zag / TrueCar includes in their invoice / offer price $500 for MACO, but it's less than the actual $580 - at least for SoCal you need to add another $80 to get to the same invoice as BMW Centers
