It's funny there is all the time in the world to spend on forums but none to read the owner's manual.

Ironic but true, the email thingy pops up on your face and you can reply in between your work. TO sit and read, is pain..

I have a new X3 with 800 miles on it, and while I did initially notice the shift down it is smoother than at first, and I do a lot of stop and go driving but maybe I've got used to it,

+1 I think dgolf is being a troll, and just pulling our chains....if he wishes to be ignorant of how his car works, that's his choice, but none of us on here need to spend time helping those that can't or won't help themselves.

Just my opinion....FWIW. Oh, right, nothing personal, dgolf.

Thanks for your comments. No offense taken buddy.
You are absolutely correct. I should spend more time trying to read up the manual.

So did you drive it in sports mode yet or are you still driving it like a woman? Make a difference? Happier? DS mode is a party and were all invited.

I agree. I see that you have been posting with passion and responsibly so far in other threads. I guess, Mr. Glenn decided to be inflammatory and since the two of you have posting for some time, you seem to have gotten carried away as well. This seems to have turned this thread to a weird one.
