Mein Auto: 1984 733i
733i crank position sensor location

Im putting together a 733i 3.2l and dont know where it mounts exactly. Its a small cast aluminum bracket. Its mounting holes dont match anywhere I can see.......Any photos would be appreciated.

Red face crank sensor position

Hello, looking at the area of the distributor car, at a downward angle.the sensor mounts next to the vibration damper.

OK, found it, mounted it.....That was the final piece to the puzzle...Runs like a champ! Owner drove it from San Jose Ca. to Carmel for the weekend and loves it...
