Cool Leather seats

has anyone ever ordered leather seat covers from leatherseats.com.
I am planning on getting a set, just wondering how easy is it to install.
Seems like it is the cheapest way to get the interior looking new again????
any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Just to let you all know that this is not a SPAM.
I did end up ordering a set of seat covers today after chatting with sales at Leatherseats.com and will be getting it within the next 2 weeks. I ordered it of eBay rather then their site because it was cheaper on eBay for some reason. Also ordered the installation kit as well.
Will post before and after pictures of the seats if anyone interested.
Have a great weekend.

If the join date was 3 days ago and it was the first post, perhaps but I'd say give the guy a shot. I lucked out and found some outstanding leather seats - not Ricarro, standard E30 - at a boneyard for $135 a couple weeks ago but I was wondering what I was going to do.

I was thinking that maybe California sunny E30s with decent bodies but dead or near dead motors or trannies might be an exportable item to northern realms where salted roads have killed many an older bimmer. I see a lot of 'em in the boneyards around here and some of them have tight bodies.

Then again, something tells me that there wouldn't be that much money in it.

A friend of mine put those seat covers on, and it looked good. Unless you are very close to the seat and inspecting it, you cannot tell they are on there.

Good point. I started leaning that way myself after I saw his post on another recent thread, "upholstery help" that sounded like a serious advertisement.

I went to their site, and the stuff is not cheap. Around $500 and more. Also, I did the search twice, specifying BMW 3 series, 1987, they asked me to refine the search - specified sedan, and they came back with an Alfa and a bunch of other makes. No bimmer.

Oh well.

I'll post some pics of the two leather seats that I found recently. Maybe I shouldn't, it'll almost be cruel. I can hardly believe I found them.

I've got two sets of black leather Recaro seats I need to sell. One is very good and the other so-so. I just don't like Recaro any more. Go figure.

I bought my first pair years ago off of eBay. Spent bank and the shipping wasn't cheap. I don't think I'd want to go through the hassle of putting them on a pallet, etc. Have to try to sell them locally.

Hey Guys, I got my seat covers and am working on them.
Will have some pictures pretty soon.
I have done the rear seat so far and it looks damn good, soft too.
Cheers

simple, PICSorGTFO

You posted these are covers, not replacement, so they go on top of the existing material. Interesting, puffy comes to mind, but pics will tell.

Again, don't post in response unless you have pics
