I read through the wiki for ED.
I do not see specifics on models available for ED.

I know the M3 is one of them
Can the 335d sport package be ordered?

What about M5 and M6

335d Sport Package and M Sport Package are both available for ED.

According to BMW web site

you can order car that was build for US Market. That mean, if you build your car with packages you like - you can ordered. But you right, I don't see M5 or M6 on this list.

Probably since they aren't producing any M5s or M6s at all right now. At least not for public consumption!

I pick up my 335d m-sport on june 25 in munich

In 09 I know a guy that did ED on an M6.
I picked up my M3 about the same time/shipment.

Congrats. I have my ED scheduled for Sept for an 328ix coupe.....and I'm SERIOUSLY considering switching it for the 335d. The winters in Boston will be tricky but, I wouldn't do it without dedicated snows.....

That $3500 Eco credit is a huge bonus.... Too bad the IRS credit for $900 wasn't still in effect...

I live in Colorado and will picking up a 335d in Munich next month. I drove a RWD 330i here for 3 years including mountain driving on plenty of snow and ice on dedicated snows. The car did great. I have no hesitation with a RWD with the right tires (studless snows, not the performance variety). The key is to go with the basic traction control (press the ESC button) so that the tires are allowed to spin.

Any us spec BMW that is built in germany currently in production can be ordered for Ed except in some cases they won't let you order newly released models for 180 days after us release.

Reccomend this choice highly, just passed the one year anniversary of my ED experience. Monaco F1 last weekend brought back many pleasant memories. Looks like last opportunit to do 335d ED will be only 4-5 months from now. Any date you can get now would allow you to hit some of the best passes in the Alps too

Agreed. Just test drove the 335d last night. Awesome. Changing my order to 335d as we speak..... Just in time too....as the E90 ends production in October.

Congrats, you will love the whole experience. I think 335d production ends in August, earlier than regular E90 production.

Yeah, that's what I've read and heard. It sounds like I just squeaked by with this ED order. My d will likely be built in July....and will probably be one of the last in the E90 body.
