M6 Cold air intake?

Need some help? I just bought a 2010 M6 coupe and I am trying to figure out what intake to get for it. I just bought a meisterschaft exhaust with x-pipe for it. I have no idea what to buy for the intake so if you could help that would be great. Thanks

You should really get the scoops from RPI.
They're not expensive and give you a nice amount of power just for being scoops.
There are also alot of posts on M6board.com that will really help you out.

ok thanks. The place Im getting work done said that I should get an afe intake. What do you know about that?

well from what I've read. AFE is a bad intake for the m6. it actually loses power.
I've read good reviews for the ASR intake and the Dinan. the dinan you can put on both RPI and Dinan intake to get great results. Unfortunately, ASR cant be put on with the RPI scoops.

and i was reading your post on m6board. you asked a question about the warranty.
from what I've read, some dealerships work with dinan so i don't think you'll have a problem with warranty. Even the dealership where I get my car serviced at, they have huge banners saying they install Dinan parts and are authorized dinan retailers.
Good luck on your intakes and be sure to post some pics on m6board when you've gotten them installed.

Yeah i was a little worried about the warranty but now that I know that I will have to check with the dealership that I went through. Thanks again for your help. Will post pics when its done.

ditto on the RPI scoop, i had em on my Z4M and is GREAT!

RPI Scoops, BMC filters, charcoal delete, and bock off plates are a must.
