cant find cheap

i want to buy an s52 and a zf transmisson but cant find a place cheap i need help

you should learn to search and what is " cheap" to you ?

i want to spend around 3000

That should be pretty easy to find. Search forums like e30tech, r3vlimited, and basically any other BMW forums. They pop up relatively often for under $3k with tranny.

yeah i am where i live they want to chager me almost 5 grade for just the s52 with ever thing on it

You are going to find that your location will determine how much you will end up paying, unfortunately.

5 grand is S54 money. all over the forums and internet you can find cheap (inbetween $1300 and $2000) s52s an you can get ZF's from bavarian recycling for like $400?

I sold my s50 with 110k miles on it for $1800, and the 5 speed transmission for another $380. If anyone paid $5k for an S50/2 you'd be mad..

The reason I asked, and I mean this with respect, is that you need to research and then research some more before you turn a wrench. You are asking some very basic questions which raises some concerns.

+1. I got my 40K-mile drivetrain for $2500. The seller originally asked $4K.
