BMW Welt Store Discount

This is from a foggy memory, but on my last ED I have some recollection of a discount card
given to me at the Welt store.
Can someone refresh my memory??

I think you get around €10.

jcain is correct. The personalized ID card that you receive when you check in to the Premium Lounge has a €10 credit for the Welt Store and a €15 credit for the restaurant. Just present your card when you pay and the credit will be automatically deducted.

I will gladly accept any cards from those who have forgot to use them.

Of course the usual German efficiency probably voids them after ten days anyway.

Yes, the 10 Euro will buy you a hat in the BMW store. We had food & drinks in the Premium Lounge, so we used the 15 Euro voucher card to purchase soft drinks & water at the 1st floor Bistro for our road trip.

Were they on sale? Every time I've been to the Welt, any hat was 20 Euros or so. I always just end up getting something for the kids. Everything seems cheaper back in the US. Naturally the Welt stuff is exclusive and is likely the best buy.

I bought a white polo shirt that says "BMW Welt" on the sleeve. That is exclusive. I haven't been able to find it anywhere else (the Euro size Medium is too small and it got black marks on it from the self-spray car wash ).

Anyone doing ED want to buy me another? I'll gladly reimburse the cost + shipping!

Thanks, Teddy! A fellow Bimmerfester who is visiting BMW Welt in July has already graciously agreed to buy me a new shirt. If this doesn't work out for any reason, or they're out of the shirt in July, I'll be sure to contact you in August.

It was a ball cap -- not one of their fancy ones, and it was on sale. It was on a brochure of sale items they gave us.

That's exactly what we did last May. There's more than enough food and drink in the Premium Lounge to suffice for a meal, so we used the entire 15 Euro voucher for bottled water - which was wonderful to have in the car over the next few days.

In hindsight, we skimped too much on souvenirs during our ED. We would have picked up a few more unique things from the Welt, and elsewhere.
